Target Audience
Our target audience were new mothers, all of whom were either currently pregnant, had a child under two years old, or both.
We were pretty much successful in finding relevant participants for our user testing. We did word of mouth recruitment for our face-to-face user tests and we also were able to get required participants on usertesting.com.
Test Plan
Using the curated moderator script, we completed 5 tests face-to-face (two in person, three over Zoom).
Additionally, each team member led three user tests through UserTesting.com, for a total of 15 tests through this medium and 20 tests overall. Here, we report our findings (oriented around the tasks that users were asked to complete), as well as the recommendations for future changes to the app and overall themes that emerged from these tests.

Methodology
To test our prototype with users, we first created an Moderator Scripts and Test Packet around a series of tasks that would enable the user to explore a wide breadth of the pages and features we built for the app.
The scripts also includes several questions about the user’s experience using application for new or soon-to-be moms and questions assessing their overall impression of the app. Users’ opinions, actions, and feedback was assessed using Time on Task, Task Success Ratio, Task Usability, and the System Usability Scale (SUS), allowing us to collect a rich array of both quantitative and qualitative data.
